Background and objectives
We are conducted a Rapid Situation Assessment with Response of the slums in the community areas we serve. The RSA & R is addressing the following issues: Demographics, Health issues, Health hazards, Sanitation, W omens Menstrual Health, etc. We need an analyst who can analyse the data collected and co-related aspects of the data collected / indicators and come up with a detailed analytical report to be presented and incorporated in the final study report. A large number of under privileged communities struggling to survive in flimsy make-shift shelters which offer only minimal protection against the harsh climatic conditions. Disease is rife and this is exacerbated by severe malnutrition. Children, like their parents, have little or no opportunities for education and many spend their days scavenging and aimlessly roaming the streets.
Hand2Hand Home of Grace’s mission is to help the Under Privileged Children and their communities in New Delhi achieve a secure and sustainable future by addressing the root causes of their poverty and ill-health through a range of education and health-based projects currently being done at the operational Day Care Center in Nebsarai,New Delhi. Hand2Hand currently is a day care service for children, who are economically backward and children of daily wage earners or domestic helps. The objective is to correlate data collected, analyse it & formulate a comprehensive report which we would in turn present it to the relevant authorities in view of bringing to their notice the plight of these slum dwellers & further encourage them to implement the various programs of the Government.
Volunteers: 1 needed
