Background and objectives
It is an open source mobile application wherein a person can acquire information about the latest happenings related to tobacco eradications, regulations and cessation and also give complaints on tobacco related violations we need volunteers to spread this to other parts of the Country and support in new developments. Complaint on Violations: Using this, a tobacco control violation can be reported.  Get Support : Through this a user can request for services such as information on cessation centers, requesting for IEC materials, conduct capacity building workshops and so on. Be a Volunteer: To become a tobacco control volunteer, the user would have to choose this option. Updates/Initiatives: Latest updates with regards to Tobacco Eradication will be available here.

Obtain latest updates on tobacco control/eradication Platform for the general public to report any violation related to tobacco. Provides statistics on the number of violations and the type of violations reported at the district/state level to the Government and Civil Society Members. The statistics on the complaints related to tobacco supports support the Government to make strong policy decision against tobacco Sensitizes the general public on the different violations related to tobacco. Platform to acquire referral services such as information on tobacco cessation centres, training programmes etc.

Access to the Internet and the right tools. You’ll need reliable Internet access, as well as regular access to a communication device, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer. 

Time. Decide how much time you can realistically devote to your online volunteering activities. Once you select a daily or weekly time range, you’ll be counted on to honour your commitment.

Availability. You’ll need to make yourself available for any teleconferences, meetings or check-ins required by the organization for which you’re volunteering.
